In a lot of finance projects I’ve been part of, the real challenge with new tech usually isn’t the tech itself — it’s everything around it. Getting risk, compliance, and ops teams on the same page (especially under pressure) can be the toughest part. Even when the solution’s solid, making it land well takes a lot of alignment and trust-building across teams.

I’d love to hear your experience — what’s been the hardest part of integrating new technology in your world? And what’s helped you bring people along for the ride?

On one of our recent builds, we set out with clear sustainability goals, from material selection to energy performance targets. Everyone was on board, and the design looked great on paper. But as we moved into execution, we ran into familiar challenges: supply limitations, longer lead times, and pricing fluctuations on eco-friendly materials.

I’m curious how others are navigating this. Have you faced moments where sustainability goals and delivery constraints seemed to clash? What’s helped you stay aligned with your values without losing momentum on site?

Our marketing team recently adopted ClickUp to bring more structure to task and project management. However, I’m finding it challenging to get the team to use it optimally. I often need to remind them to update task statuses, due dates, and add context in the descriptions. It feels like managing ClickUp is becoming an additional task on top of everything else.

Has anyone else faced similar challenges when introducing a new project management tool? How did you adapt the tool to better fit your team’s workflow? Any specific features or strategies that helped your team stay productive without feeling overwhelmed would be greatly appreciated.
